Extractions

Unfortunately, sometimes teeth need to be extracted. Often they are infected, or they have broken beyond repair and sometimes we have to remove teeth to make room for other teeth to grow.

We realise that this is often the one part of dentistry that most people fear. We will endeavor to make the experience as positive as we can for you. Your dentist will make your tooth and the surrounding gums very numb. We will explain the procedure to you beforehand to make sure that there are no surprises and afterwards we will send you home with information and advice to encourage the area to heal as quickly as possible.

You will be provided with an emergency contact number in case you have any concerns after the treatment.
